Feature · On-site Surveys
Ask the right question at the right moment
Lightweight on-site surveys for exit intent, NPS, and customer feedback — bilingual EN/AR out of the box, and linked back to the session recording so you can see what the visitor did before they answered.
What's included
Multi-question logic
Chain multiple questions in a single survey with several question types — rating, multiple choice, single choice, and open text — so you can dig past the first answer.
Smart triggers (exit, scroll, time, URL)
Show a survey on exit intent, after a scroll depth threshold, after time on page, or only on specific URLs — so you ask people at the moment that matters, not the moment they land.
Bilingual EN/AR rendering
Write each question in both English and Arabic and the widget renders in the visitor's language with proper RTL layout, fonts, and spacing — no extra setup, no broken alignment.
Linked to session recordings
Every response is tied to the session it came from, so you can jump straight from a low NPS score or a complaint into the recording and watch exactly what frustrated the visitor.
Response analytics
Aggregate ratings, NPS score, response rate, and open-text answers in one view — filter by page, device, or campaign to see which segments answer differently.
How it compares
Same use cases as Hotjar's Surveys or Qualaroo, but linked to your recordings and experiments. Lightweight where SurveyMonkey is heavy.
Frequently asked questions
Where do surveys show?+
Surveys appear as a small widget anchored to the corner of your site — non-blocking, dismissible, and styled to match a modern storefront. You choose which pages they show on via URL targeting, and you can run different surveys on different sections of the site at the same time.
Can I trigger on exit intent?+
Yes. Exit intent is a first-class trigger — the survey shows the moment the cursor moves toward the browser controls (or, on mobile, when the visitor scrolls up fast after a long pause). You can combine it with URL and scroll-depth rules so it only fires on the pages where churn actually matters, like checkout or product pages.
Are surveys RTL/Arabic-ready?+
Yes — Arabic and RTL are built in, not an afterthought. Each question has English and Arabic text fields, and the widget switches direction, font, and button alignment automatically based on the visitor's language. Numbers and rating scales render correctly in RTL without you touching CSS.
Can I do NPS?+
Yes. NPS is one of the built-in question types — pick the 0–10 scale, add an optional follow-up open-text question, and Netaj computes the rolling NPS score for you (promoters minus detractors) with filters by page, device, and time range. You can target it post-purchase or after a number of sessions.
How does this compare to Hotjar surveys?+
Feature-wise the use cases overlap heavily — exit intent, NPS, on-page feedback. The differences are that Netaj's widget is ~3.4KB and lazy-loaded only when an active survey exists, Arabic/RTL is native rather than bolted on, and every response links straight to the session recording so you can watch the behavior behind the answer in one click.
